Stage 1 of 9, from concept to live.
This is the position on the nine-step status ladder. It is not the share of work completed, and no completion figure has been supplied.
Scope
SelfAI is described as the cloned user self in the digital world. The founder distinguishes it from a chatbot, which answers queries, and from an assistant, which performs tasks: a clone is meant to continue the self across the physical and digital boundary. It is meant to be anchored by a W5D UUID.
One module per dimension
Each of the ten 2030B projects has its own SelfAI module, and the eleventh project, كن أعلم, is described as the meta-SelfAI. Module codes are shown on the 2030B page. They are defined, not running.
Consent
- Whose self. A person must be able to see, correct and delete what the clone holds about them.
- Third parties. A clone trained on conversations involves people who did not consent.
- Withdrawal. Consent must be revocable, and revocation must be effective.
- After death or incapacity. Policy for the clone of a deceased or incapacitated person: to be confirmed.
- Minors. No clone of a minor should exist without a policy that has been published and reviewed.
